In-house Competitions

The annual knockout competitions see members bowling against each other. 

The Club in house Bowls Competitions formats are as follows:

• Singles Competition - 4 Bowls, first to 17 Shots.
• Pairs Competition - highest score after 16 Ends, 3 Bowls.

The singles competition entrants will normally find someone to act as a “marker”, for their matches.

In previous years we have had separate men's and ladies' singles, men's and ladies' pairs and open pairs competitions. Since 2022 this has been slimmed down to open singles and open pairs with men and women bowling on equal footing against each other.
